Future of Work

Call for Abstracts to EU4Dual Annual Conference 2026

GC1: Future of Work

In 2025, the Future of Work research track centred on the dynamic relationship between technology and human factors, highlighting the need for adaptable leadership, prioritising well-being and ethical practices, and underscoring the ongoing importance of cultivating skills relevant to an ever-evolving workplace.

These themes collectively emphasised the necessity of fostering holistic, flexible, and technology-enhanced environments that support both organisational objectives and employee well-being. The convergence of these themes suggests that effective approaches to the future of work must be multifaceted, addressing not only technological advancements but also the human elements critical to creating effective and sustainable workplaces.

The future of work extends beyond the integration of technology; it hinges on aligning technological progress with human potential, equity, and sustainability. Cross-sector collaboration remains essential to realising this vision. This conference aims to bring together academia, industry experts, and policymakers to explore the future of work in multidisciplinary and multidimensional ways.
