The European Scientific Journal of Dual Higher Education (ESJ DHE) positions itself as the dedicated academic voice for research in the dynamic and increasingly relevant field of dual higher education in Europe and beyond.
Instructions for Authors
Submissions of manuscripts should be made electronically through the OJS system. Please use the provided template for submission. Once submitted, the author can track the submission and communicate with Managing Editors via the OJS system.
Manuscripts submissioned by the author(s) have to fulfil the following requirements:
- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
- Language: English
- Format: *.docx-Format
- Double-sided alignment (justified) and simple line spacing
- uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
- Top and bottom margins should be set at 2.5 cm and the left and right at 2 cm
- Each author must be identified with an ORCID number
- Structure of the manuscript: Introduction, Methodology, Results & Discussion, Conclusion, References
- Where available, URLs for the references have been provided
- Length: 4.000 – 6.000 words (exceptions require justification)
- Citation style: APA 7
- Anonymization: Manuscripts must not contain any author-identifying information
- Ethical Declarations: Include statements on conflict of interest, funding, and research ethics approval where applicable.
All articles have their proofs checked prior to publication by the author/managing editor, which should ensure that content errors are not present. Please contact the Managing editors via OJS if an article needs correcting.
Post-publication changes are not permitted to the publication, unless in circumstances relating to factual inaccuracies that affect the data or conclusions being drawn. If an error is discovered in a published article then the Editor-in-chief (EIC) will assess whether a correction article or retraction is required.
